For your reference, I ran 10.9 at 126 with a 1.60 60ft on drag radials years ago at LVMS, and that was with a very mild 530rwhp (non-mustang Dyno). Two pointers- don't run your car in 100+ degrees and don't run on a non-drag radial if you plan to obtain a decent time.

The sidewall on the R888R is a little stiffer than the NT555R, which gives you a little better handling, but also a little stiffer ride. The only negative I have experienced is the road noise. WebNov 26, 2024 · Drag radials have actually been outlawed in the 1/2 mile and mile events because of this. When someone loses control for whatever reason the tires are so flexible they can actually dismount from the rims. Don't need any more detail on that.

Real sticky but it has a VERY stiff sidewall so it shocks the drivetrain more then a drag radial. It is meant to go around corners.
