WebAug 9, 2024 · Made by a local builder Robert Hinson, basically a Z28 circuit but it uses 6AQ5 power tubes instead of 6V6s. Very good NOS 6AQ5 tubes are plentiful and cheap, and they last a long time. I had some 50s JAN 6AQ5s in my last Hinson and used them for probably 7 years and they still were good when I sold the amp.
