Witryna18 maj 2024 · The local agronomist both Merit and Heritage Co-op recommended 20 gallons per acre as IMOX was designed as an aquatic herbicide, "it works better - wetter" much different then Gly or other 'burning' herbicides. We put down IMOX last Sunday, 2 May at a rate of 20 gallons, 4 pounds of ammonium sulfate and 5.25IMOX oz / acre. WitrynaImox w/Nitrosurf for grasses and broadleaf weeds....all in one application. -OR- Butyrac 200 w/o surfactant for weeds and Clethodim w/surfactant for grasses . Buy all the above chemicals at Keystone Pest Solutions....shipped to your door. The Imox appears pretty expensive until you do the math on application rates. Good luck!

If you were to go 32oz per acre using 13 gallons that would give you 2.46 oz/gallon. Someone can check my math if needed or chime in on water rates but you will have to determine how much water you will use before … WitrynaI started using IMOX because I have problems with nutsedge and horse nettle in my clover plots. The Clethodim and 2,4 DB don't phase either of these. The IMOX has been very effective against the nutsedge and somewhat effective against the horse nettle. So for my Mississippi bottom land clover plots I need both IMOX and 2,4 DB.

I'm told I should apply Imox/Nitro-surf when the weeds are about 2/3" tall.
