WebAug 26, 2024 · You shouldn't use an adjuster that doesn't have a reasonably snug fit onto the axle. That will allow the axle to move forward-backwards, which is highly undesirable. Having said that, the OEM adjusters only prevent the axle from sliding forward. But they have a hole that matches the axle. WebMar 23, 2009 · Go very very slow and make sure you maually rotate the engine to align the timing marks before you loosen the screws. When you hear the click sound, tighten the screws back up. The bike will sound totally different. Do NOT click more than once. You wont like the sound after it warms up. It will sound like it has a blower.
