If I'm remembering the guide correctly (at work right now, so can't check atm) all items have a chance to drop from any of the trade items... its just that the 'rarer' trade items like Petrified Something have a much higher chance of dropping the high tier items like the Great Hammer. 1. None of the items are things you won't pick up anyhow and short of speed runs I can't see the meta for each one meaning much.
